Positive response for tourism from Australia and New Zealand was highlighted since the launch of a campaign by Tourism Fiji in New Zealand two weeks ago.

Chief Executive Tourism Fiji, Josefa Tuamoto said that the uptake and attraction with regards to this campaign has been an honour.

In highlighting the significance of branding, Tuamoto said that branding was part of a message that informed potential visitors that they needed to come and see what was really like in Fiji. Whilst in New Zealand Tuamoto said the current cold season experienced there played a major role in attracting visitors to Fiji.

Meanwhile Tuamoto revealed that there were quite a number of promotional shows that Tourism Fiji was involved with and one of them was the Hampton Court Garden Show in the United Kingdom in which Fiji was surprisingly selected to host a crowd of 180,000 people in a day.

Another promotion is the launching of the Adelaide flights with Virgin Blue and Pacific Blue tomorrow as this will mean more visitors to our shores.
