Tongan Prime Minister Dr. Feleti Sevele met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs Ratu Inoke Kubuabola to further discuss issues raised by the Pacific Islands Forum Ministerial Contact group on Fiji which met last month in Auckland.
Dr. Sevele's Press Secretary and Political Advisor Lopeti Senituli said there were very positive exchange of views on a whole range of issues not only on the relations between Fiji and the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum but also on other areas.
Senituli said Dr. Sevele will now update the Leaders Forum on the talks held with Fiji today.
And the Tongan Prime Minister is also yet to confirm whether Tonga will participate in the upcoming Melanesian Spearhead Group Plus meeting to be held in Fiji next month.
Dr. Sevele did not meet Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama as he had said earlier and leave the country tomorrow morning.
