The Native Land Trust Board is already seeing a positive response from landowners who are coming forward to negotiate the leasing of their land.
NLTB Spokesperson Ro Alipate Mataitini confirmed to Fijivillage that there has been a positive response from landowners following revelations of plans to increase the unimproved capital value of the land from 6 to 10 percent.
Mataitini said several lands which was vacated due to non-renewals are expected to be renewed in the months ahead.
