The Citizens Constitutional Forum has reiterated its position on the People's Charter has not changed despite the approval of a report by the NCBBF by the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo yesterday.
Chief Executive Reverend Akuila Yabaki said while he was a member of the NCBBF, he had lobbied for changes to the Draft Charter, which were consistent with the Constitution, human rights and good governance.
Yabaki said CCF's support for the NCBBF had been conditional upon five issues.
Yabaki added that they look forward to the Charter recommendations becoming part of the agenda for the political dialogue.
