The interim Prime Minister has spoken for the first time about his meeting with Pope Benedict the 16th during his recent visit to Rome.
Commodore Bainimarama said the meeting with the Pope was a truly touching and memorable experience.
He confirmed that the Pope also enquired about Fiji.
