An initiative to help the poorest of the poor category of school children is expected to be launched on the 9th of next month.
This is called the Friends Fiji Foundation which will assist children not to go through school dropout because their parents cannot afford school fees and lunches.
Foundations' National Coordinator, Irshaad Ali said a team of volunteers will visit the three divisions to identify children who fall into this category.
Ali said the Government has put aside $200,000 to help run this programme.
