The Wellington 7s tournament will be held on the 30th and 31st of January next year.
Meanwhile, South Africa successfully defended the South Africa 7s title after defeating Argentina 29-14 in the Cup final this morning.
Fiji is in first place on the World Rugby 7s series table with 35 points.
South Africa is in second place with 35 points but Fiji has a better overall points difference.
USA and Argentina are in third place with 29 points.
England is next with 26 points.
France and NZ are in sixth place with 25 points.
