Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said politicians like Laisenia Qarase and Mahendra Chaudhry are not needed at this stage.
Fijivillage has questioned the Prime Minister about comments made by SDL leader Qarase that any constitution changes should be made by an elected government and Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry that Fiji does not need to rewrite a new constitution and the military needs to understand its role.
Chaudhry had earlier asked when will the abrogation of constitutions stop in Fiji.
While reacting to comments by Qarase and Chaudhry, Commodore Bainimarama said they are not needed at this stage.
Commodore Bainimarama questions the motives of these politicians.
