Six political parties have questioned the Australian and New Zealand government's intention to suspend Fiji from the Pacific Islands Forum.
Speaking at their meeting yesterday, General Voters Party leader Fred Caine said the Forum was founded by the late Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara and questioned the rights of these leaders to call for Fiji's suspension.
The six political parties also passed a resolution yesterday that the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo promulgates the President's Political dialogue forum as the only forum to deal with taking the country forward.
The six political parties are the Conservative Alliance / Matanitu Vanua Party, General Voters party, Justice Freedom Party, National Alliance Party, Party of National Unity and the SVT.
