Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase is calling on the Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama to call for the Political Forum as soon as possible in the wake of an ultimatum given to the Interim Government by the Pacific Island Leaders Forum.
Qarase said the proposed political forum will solve a lot of problems.
The National Federation Party General Secretary Pramod Rae has also echoed Qarase's sentiments saying that his party is willing to attend the Forum to reach an amicable decision in an effort to take the country towards democracy.
Meanwhile, Rae said Commodore Bainimarama should get his facts right before saying that they did not raise concern about people not getting New Zealand and Australian visas.
