Police and National Fire Authority are investigating an incident of suspected arson in Waiwai Ba early Saturday morning.
Acting Divisional Fire Officer Western, Timoci Ranavue confirmed receiving the information that a woman allegedly set fire to her own home following a dispute with her husband.
The owner of the house managed to save his daughter who was still in the house during the fire.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
Police are expected to lay charges against the woman soon. Investigations continue.
