The joint Police and Military raids in the higlands of Navosa continues and the estimated street value of the marijuana plants uprooted so far stands at seventy million dollars.
Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said they have taken a number of people into custody and charges are expected to be laid soon.
Sokomuri is urging those still at large behind the cultivation of these marijuana farms, to give themselves up.
Meanwhile, Police are expected to question the Turaga-Ni Koro of Vatubalavu in Navosa in relation to the alleged cultivation of Marijuana. They believe the Turaga-Ni Koro has knowledge of the marijuana farms and those involved.
