The Police and Land Transport Authority will continue monitoring the overloading of buses during peak hours following the incident in Volivoli, Sigatoka where a bus carrying school students caught fire.
Director Traffic SSP Ramendra Raj said it is always a risk when buses are overloaded with passengers.
According to Raj, bus drivers and owners should ensure the safety of passengers at all times or else they would be taken to task.
