People are asked not to be alarmed with the heavy presence of Police officers and fire fighters at the Nausori airport this morning.
The Fiji Police Force along with the Firefighters and Airports Fiji Limited is currently carrying out a mock crash exercise at the Nausori Airport to test their reaction time.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said that this is being done to ensure that whenever there is a major accident, terrorist attack or even a threat to national security they are ready.
A similar exercise was held at the Nadi International Airport last month.
