Both the Police and Army teams have stepped up preparations for Fridays Sukuna Bowl challenge and coaches from both ends are tightlipped about their preparations.

The Police team is training at Lawaqa Park and had only one session in Suva on Monday, while Army have been based at Delainabua.

Both sides have the players that can win any big game and also boast some of the best coaches in the country and will have no excuses with their preparation.

The Army side has failed in their last 5 attempts but coach Reverend Joji Rinakama's "never say die" approach is what captain Dale Tonawai will rely on to inspire his troops against Police.

Tonawai will have players like Leone Nakarawa, Alefoso Yalayalatabua, Aminiasi Nava, Manasa Saulo and Epeli Ruivadra to back him up.

The Police team arrives in Nasova tomorrow for their captains run in front of their fans who will be hoping for the Sukuna Bowl to travel back to Nasova.

The Police/Army match kicks off at 4pm on Friday at the TFL stadium and a commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station VitiFM.
