Police are still trying to identify the suspect who allegedly raped a 2-year-old girl in a village in Rakiraki last Thursday.
A team of investigators has been at the village interviewing family members and villagers.
Police say the 2-year-old was playing outside her home before the alleged incident happened.
The matter was reported to Police by the girl's mother.
