Police have warned members of the public to be more cautious while handling $20 notes.
This comes after six fake $20 notes were discovered in the Suva and Nakasi areas in the past two days.
All the fake notes had the same serial number CM 430022.
Three fake $20 notes were discovered in a service station in Nabua by a bowser attendant who was given to him by a taxi driver.
Another fake note was discovered in a supermarket in Suva while two fake $20 notes were discovered in a supermarket in Nakasi with same serial numbers.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said they believe that someone is producing these notes and have called on members of the public to provide them with information if they have any which may lead to an arrest.
