Police in the Northern Division are now clamping down of those people who are making and selling homebrew.
Regional Police Commander Northern, SP Luke Qionibaravi said they are now also targeting those business people who are selling homebrew since it has been established that some business people were also selling homebrew openly.
According to SP Qionibaravi, they are monitoring some market vendors who they believe are also involved in the manufacturing and selling of homebrew.
He added that while they intensified their raids on black markets and those selling liquor after hours, one major challenge for them now is to arrest those who are behind the trading of homebrew during this festive season.
