Police are calling on members of the public to be on the lookout for anyone carrying a Police Identification Card which was stolen from a police officer’s house on Monday night.
Regional Police Officer Eastern, ASP Aca White confirmed the incident happened on Monday night in Visama Nausori where some unknown people entered the house of the police officer and managed to take the officers ID card and cash.
The family was sleeping at the time of the incident.
Police are looking for these suspects and are calling on people to be on alert for anyone who may use the ID card to impersonate a police officer.
