With second term holidays starting today, Police have reiterated its call for parents to monitor the movement of their children.
Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said they expect to see large number of students in billiard and internet shops and they have urged parents to supervise their movement day and night.
He also adds that police will not be able to monitor billiard and internet shops all the time.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Filipe Bole advises students to utilize their time well during the holidays and actively contribute to household chores and to try to stay out of trouble.
Bole said these two weeks break is an opportune time for students to be with their parents, to talk and share about what has been achieved over the last term and plan to improve for the next term.
He said students should listen and follow their parents' advice and while enjoying their trouble free holidays, also set time for study.
