Police in Kadavu raided farms early yesterday morning and confiscated marijuana plants with a street value of more than $1million.

Officers from the drug squad raided the farm at around 3am yesterday and uprooted 523 marijuana plants.

Officer-In-Charge ASP Sakeo Ganivatu said four people are in custody and are being interrogated.

He added that the street value of marijuana has increased drastically following the raids that were carried out in the highlands of Navosa.
