Police will be soon questioning the driver who was involved in the fatal accident in Kalokolevu near Naboro on the Queens Highway yesterday afternoon.
Police Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra has confirmed that two men passed away after sustaining serious injuries in the horrific road accident.
The two were inside a private car.
Police say the post mortem examination is expected to be conducted soon as investigations continue.
Eyewitnesses have told us that the private car was coming out of a driveway onto the highway when it collided with a truck.
The road death toll currently stands at 52 compared to 61 for the same period last year.
