Police are expected to question a 27-year-old taxi driver today after a 35-year-old man who was a victim of a road accident early Thursday morning passed away at the CWM Hospital over the weekend.
The victim was allegedly hit by a taxi driven by the 27-year-old at a crossing in 4 miles, Nabua at about 2.30am.
Fijivillage had received information that the victim was returning from a nightclub in the area when the accident occurred.
The road death toll currently stands at 28 compared to 24 for the same period last year.
