Police are expected to lay charges against the driver of the vehicle which caused the death of the 60 year old man in Navua on Saturday night.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the pathologists are now conducting the post moterm and relevant charges will be laid this afternoon when they receive the report.
The accident happened in Tokotoko Navua when the driver of the vehicle traveling towards Suva lost control and hit the man who was walking along the road.
Motorists and pedestrians have been reminded to be more vigilant on the roads.
