The Police Rugby side remains confident of retaining the Escott Shield title after beating Army 14-10 in the semifinal last night.
Led by veteran hooker, Maciu Vakaruru Police dominated the game using the heavy forward pack to come out with the victory.
Police scored two converted tries while Army managed a try and a penalty.
Meanwhile, in another semifinal, a star studded NFA side put on a strong performance to beat Covenant Brothers 21-6.
Laced with the services of star players like Serupepeli Vularika, Semesa Gonevou, Leeroy Atalifo and Nacani Wakaya, NFA was in top form.
Nippy halfback Vularika kicked three penalties while center Meli Rusa scored a try.
NFA will take on Police in the Escott Shield final next weekend.
