And also be reminded that those intending to use fireworks after 12 midnight will have to think twice as a hefty fine will apply if they are caught.
Deputy Director Operations SP Erami Raibe said while they respect people's freedom to celebrate Diwali, they will not entertain the use of fireworks after midnight.
Message for you again, the use of fireworks will only be allowed from 5pm to 12 midnight while for tomorrow night, fireworks will only be allowed 5pm and 10pm.
Members of the public caught using fireworks outside of the permitted hours will be liable to pay a fine of $400.
