Officers from Police and the Land Transport Authority will be setting up checkpoints between Lami and Nadroga to curb illegal activities before and after the Farebrother challenge match between Naitasiri and Nadroga this Saturday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said they have also met the bus operators who will be transporting people from Naitasiri to Nadroga.
He has also warned that no bus should be overloaded and bus drivers should follow the proper regulation.
Officers from the Drug Unit will also be present at Lawaqa Park to keep an eye on those who may be using the opportunity to transport Marijuana from the highlands of Navosa.
