Police will continue with their monitoring of nightclubs and billiard shops in the Central Division to ensure that they do not break the Law.
Deputy Director Police Operations SP Erami Ribe said that nightclub owners have been informed of the Law on closing hours and minors entering the nightspot.
Raibe added that the Law is in place and any breaches will not be tolerated.
On the issue of Billiard shops, Raibe said that though the operating hours are now being overseen by the Suva City Council, Police presence will be noticeable during this festive season.
The Suva City Council (SCC) has revealed that all billiard shops around the Suva area have to close at 5pm or face the suspension of their operating licenses.
