Police are now targeting ways to cut the links of transportation between the marijuana farmers in the highlands of Viti Levu and the towns and cities.
Speaking to Legend FM News, Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni says there are many tracks and paths which are used by those who purchase the drugs from the farmers and bring it to the market.
He says targeting the marijuana trade could help reduce other crimes like home invasions and robberies without violence cases.
