Escott Shield champion, Police has suffered a major setback ahead of their clash against Tacirua in the Suva Rugby Union Club Rugby Competition this weekend.

Several of their key players have been included in the Police 7s team to tour Samoa later this week.

Despite the setback, manager Sakiusa Tikotani said they have other capable players who can deliver against a young Tacirua side.

Police will take on Tacirua at Albert Park on Saturday.

Other big games in the Escott Shield this week will see Navy play Lomaiviti Green, Marist meets Harlequins, Raiwaqa takes on Army Green, Newtown will play Savura, NFA will play Nabua while Covenant Blues will face Red Rock.
