Police are still waiting for pathologists to complete the post mortem on the body found in Deuba on Friday afternoon.
Assistant Commissioner Police Crime, Nasir Ali confirms they are currently questioning a suspect in relation to the death and are treating the case as murder.
The body is said to be that of 26 year old Ashika Lata McCartney, who was reported missing soon after she arrived in the country from Australia last month.
Ali refused to confirm whether the suspect is related to the deceased.
Police believe that the body may have been at the scene for the last ten days.
