Police are trying to locate the driver of the bus which veered off the road and tumbled down a slope near Navutu between Sigatoka and Nadi yesterday afternoon, killing two people.
The driver is alleged to have fled the scene after the accident.
A four year old girl and a 38yr old man are dead while 42 passengers who sustained serious injuries were taken to the Nadi hospital with others taken to Sigatoka hospital.
Nadi Police confirm the victims were on their way to Suva when the accident occurred.
