Police are searching for a man who was part of a diving trip in the waters of Rotuma yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said the man was part of a three member team who went diving yesterday, and their boat capsized. He adds two of the men managed to swim to shore, while the search continues for the third man who is still missing.
Meanwhile Sokomuri has confirmed that the man who was involved in the hit and run accident in Wainibokasi, Nausori died yesterday.
The man was in his late 20's. The incident happened last week where the man was bumped by a car at around 1.30 in the morning.
Police are calling for more information as the identity of the driver is still unkown at this stage.
