Officers from the Drug Unit and Keiyasi Police Station are now searching the highlands of Navosa for suspects who are involved in marijuana cultivation in the area.
Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said their officers uprooted 2000 marijuana plants from the highlands of Navosa on Monday.
He said these marijuana plants have an estimated value of 1.5 million dollars.
Sokomuri said this is part of their operation to fight against marijuana cultivation.
