The Fiji Police Force has today revealed that there has been a dramatic decrease in the crime rate in the country for the first four months of this year.
Director Police Operations SSP Waisea Tabakau said the crime rate went down as much has 47 percent in March, compared to last year.
According to SSP Tabakau, the Police Crusade organized throughout the country is one of the main reasons we are seeing the decrease in the criminal activities.
When questioned how much money has been allocated or has been spent on the police crusade this year, Tabakau said he cannot reveal the figure as the police crusade is part of the crime prevention measures being taken by the police.
