Police has again retained the BSP Life Sukuna Bowl title for the second year in a row after beating Army 25-24 in an intense game of rugby at the ANZ Stadium.

Police fullback Isoa Donalson repeated his heroic move after converting a last minute penalty to keep the Sukuna Bowl title at Nasova.

Police was leading at first half by 8-3 with a try from fullback Apisalome Waqatabu and a penalty from Amani Bosenawai.

Army dominated the play in the second half coming back with three converted tries from prop Vesi Rarawa, lock Josefa Levula and second five eight Sitiveni Kunaga where they lead 24-20 with a minute left to fulltime.

Tries for Police in the second half were scored by second five Atunaisa Turagaiviu and Mosese Volavola.

The Frank Boivert coached side showed how playing 80 minutes rugby can win a game.

The BSP Life Sukuna Bowl will remain in Nasova for another year.
