Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s defending champion Police is ready to defend their title this weekend.
Police team manager Tevita Suliano says they sent the team to Sigatoka last Sunday.
Suliano adds that the side will be captained by former national rep Livai Ikanikoda.
Police is pooled with Westfield Dragons, Shangri‑La Daveta and Germany in pool A.
They defeated Daveta 38‑10 in the final in 2014.
They will play their first game against Germany at 11.25am Thursday.
The Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s will be held from Thursday to Saturday at Lawaqa Park.
Meanwhile the Uprising Secondary School 7s will be held tomorrow.
