Police in the West yesterday raided two farms and uprooted plants believed to be marijuana worth more than $200,000.

The farm of a 35 year old farmer of Ra was raided yesterday and police uprooted 61 Marijuana plants.

The heights of these plants range from 60cm to 1.2 metres.

The farmer is in custody at the Rakiraki Police station.

In another incident, the farm belonging to a 25 year old man was also raided yesterday in Saru, Lautoka and police uprooted 50 marijuana plants.

The heights of these plants range from 20cm to 1.5 metres.

Plants uprooted have been sent to Koronivia for analysis.
