Police have raided a farm in Seaqaqa and uprooted 117 marijuana plants which have a street value of thousands of dollars.

Officer-In-Charge Drugs Inspector Rajeshni Mala has confirmed that the raid was conducted by the officers following a tip off.

The 49 year old farm owner is in police custody as police await the analyst report from the Koronivia Research station.

He is expected to be charged soon.
