A team of officers from the Drug Unit and the Strike Back Team raided a shop in Flagstaff and confiscated dried leaves believed to be marijuana worth more than $5000.

According to police, the shop owner was under surveillance for some time and the police raid was carried out at 6pm yesterday evening.

Police confiscated 85 rolls, 24 sachets and two plastic bags containing dried leaves.

The Drug Unit also seized some marijuana seedlings.

The 57 year old shop owner, a 41 year old caretaker and 34 year old customer are being questioned at the Raiwaqa Police Station.

Police also confiscated some dried leaves from the 34 year old customer.
