A DVD outlet in Namaka has been raided by the police.

After a lapse of a few weeks following the first round of raids when the Amendment to the Copyright Act came into effect, this raid occurred earlier today.

Police Deputy Director Operations, Erami Raibe said the raid occurred at COMSOL, which is one of the biggest DVD outlets in Nadi. He said police confiscated some DVD's and CD's this afternoon.

However, Raibe said they have stopped the raid and further raids on DVD outlets will be conducted once the all clear is given by the Director of Public Prosecution Office.
