Police have now recommenced the raids on DVD outlets selling pirated movies.
However the approach now being taken is very precise as the Police Force is working with the rights holders of the movies.
This afternoon two raids were carried out on two DVD outlets in Nasinu where the Police and rights holders confiscated specific movies that clearly show that they are copied.
The Police Forces Copyright Officer Corporal Malakai Raufuti led the raids.
He said the DVD outlet owners will now be taken to task.
Corporal Raufuti said they are currently working with the rights holders, Eros Pacific, SPR and Damodar Brothers.
