Police are still questioning a few people in relation to the rape of the 9-year-old girl in Nakasi.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Henry Brown says the usual police work is currently underway where they are questioning some people based on the information received and checking their alibis.
Police are calling for public assistance to locate the suspect in the rape case.
They are looking for a slim I-taukei man with dark complexion.
The suspect was wearing a white collared t-shirt and black three quarter pants with flip flops when he committed the offence.
The suspect has a tattoo of a green bird with a long neck on his leg. He has a box cut with a punk and both sides of his head is shaved off. The top of his hair is dyed brown.
He also walks with a distinct limp.
Meanwhile individuals who have come forward with information regarding the rape of the 9-year-old continue to be interviewed by investigators.
