Police are questioning a woman who was allegedly involved in the daylight robbery at the Anita Jewelers in Ba yesterday.

Divisional Police Commander Western, SSP Emori Laqai has confirmed that a team of more than 40 top detectives from Ba, Lautoka, Tavua, Vatukoula and Rakiraki are working around the clock to locate the six men involved.

It is alleged that the woman who is from Ba was also the part of the robbery and was arrested after extensive investigations.

SSP Laqai said that his officers are combing the areas of Naseyani in Rakiraki after the vehicle used in the $150,000 heist was found abandoned in Naseyani village.

According to him, the robbers are armed with cane knives, crowbars and pinch bars and could be dangerous when confronted.

He has called for information from the members of the public.
