Lami Police are still questioning three men in relation to the death of 24 year old taxi driver Murad Buksh.

Divisional Crime Officer Southern, SP Tevita Lesu has confirmed that the three are expected to be charged later this afternoon.

The three are also being questioned in relation to Larceny and Unlawful use of motor vehicle cases.

SP Lesu also highlighted that they are still trying to establish the motive behind the brutal killing.

Yesterday, 24 year old, Netani Moto Nute, of Nadonumai appeared before Magistrate Aminiasi Katonivualiku, in a special Court sitting in Suva, charged with murder, larceny and unlawful use of motor vehicle.

He has been remanded in custody till the 14th September.

The post mortem of Buksh had revealed that he died of manual strangulation. A piece of rope was also tied around the neck of Buksh when his body was found hanging on a bridge in Veisari.
