Police question man over MH Superfresh robbery
Director CID, ASP Waisea Vakamocea confirms that the suspect, who is originally from Lautoka, was arrested in Suva yesterday afternoon.
The hunt still continues for the other suspects who were involved in the daylight robbery.
It is alleged that the man with 8 of his other friends came in a stolen minivan and robbed the MH superfresh supermarket of $25,000 cash and other items.
The getaway vehicle was later found abandoned in Nakasi, two days after the robbery.
He is expected to be charged later today.
Meanwhile, a 35 year old man will appear in court this hour charged with theft.
He is alleged to have entered Interim Prime Minister's office last Friday and stole a laptop, a mobile phone and a USB cable.
He was arrested yesterday morning after tip off that he was trying to sell the laptop.
There were no signs of forced entry into the office.
