Police are currently questioning the driver of the vehicle which was involved in the fatal accident along Princes Road at Waila Nausori yesterday afternoon.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said the man is in custody and they will make further decisions after receiving the post mortem report later today.
A 33 year old woman of Davuilevu Nausori died in the horrific road accident.
The accident occurred at around 4pm when the twin cab that the 33 year old was travelling in, collided with a van.
The road death toll stands at 34 compared to 28 for the same period last year.
