Police are questioning a 52-year-old man of Suva for allegedly obtaining thousands of dollars from several people under false pretences.
Assistant Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita had confirmed that the man allegedly obtained money from people promising them work permits.
Police raided his house and recovered large amount of cash, passports and some fake visas.
He is expected to be charged soon.
Police are once again requesting members of the public to follow proper procedures while obtaining visas and work permits.
