Businessman Ballu Khan is still being interrogated at the Central Police Station.

Director CID, SP Tevita Lesu has confirmed that his officers are questioning him and he will be produced in the Suva Magistrates court by this afternoon.

SP Lesu said Khan will be charged with breaching his bail conditions and will be taken to court.

He said other details in relation to his arrest and the charges he will face will be revealed in court.

Khan was arrested at about 1 o'clock this morning by the Police Strike Back team after he went to the Nausori Airport yesterday afternoon to pick some people up.

Meanwhile, Khan's Lawyer, Queens Counsel Peter Williams maintains that Khan's arrest is illegal as he has not breached his bail conditions.

Businessman Ballu Khan is being questioned by police officers at the Central Police Station following his arrest at about 1 o’clock this morning.

The Central Police Station has confirmed that Khan is being questioned in relation to the alleged breach of his bail conditions.

He was arrested by the Strike Back team after allegations that he breached the bail conditions by going to the Nausori Airport to pick some people.

Meanwhile, Khan's Lawyer, QC Peter Willaims told Village News this morning that Khan did not breach the bail conditions and that his arrest is illegal.
