Police are questioning seven people who were allegedly involved in a series of violent robberies in the Southern Division in the last few days.
Director CID, Waisea Vakamocea has confirmed that the seven were arrested by the Southern Strike Back team with the help of Police Dog section and are now being questioned.
It is alleged that the seven were involved in the robbery at Flagstaff Bakery, Makoi Shopping Centre, Central Transport office and in Waidradra Navua where a businessman was robbed of more than $43,000.
Police have also managed to recover some cash and stolen items.
They are expected to be charged later today.
